Dr. Shamshad Ali is a consultant ophthalmologist with more than 14 years of clinical experience across the full spectrum of eye care. His practice combines modern surgical techniques with a strong emphasis on accurate diagnosis and careful, unhurried patient counselling.
He completed his MBBS and went on to earn his FCPS in Ophthalmology, followed by FCPS in Vitreo Retinal Ophthalmology and CHPE from the University of Lahore in 2021. Alongside his clinical practice at Dr Shamshad Ali Eye Clinic, he serves as Consultant Eye Specialist at Services Hospital Lahore, actively teaching the next generation of eye surgeons.
His special interests include sutureless phacoemulsification for cataract, vitreo-retinal disease, and advanced refractive surgery including SMILE Pro and Femto LASIK for glasses removal. He is a member of the Ophthalmology Society of Pakistan and the Prevention of Blindness Trust, and works with a friendly team dedicated to a comfortable patient experience.
